Representative Geraldo Alicea (D-Charlton) announced his committee assignments today. The Representative was assigned to serve on the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security, the Joint Committee on Education, and the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing. 

“I am very pleased to be joining my colleagues on these committees,” stated Representative Alicea. “Issues relating to public safety, education, and health care have always been top priorities of mine, and I look forward to being able to evaluate and advance important legislation that addresses these very issues”. 

Representative Alicea will serve on the Committee of Public Safety and Homeland Security for his second term in a row, along with Chairman Michael Costello (D-Newburyport) and other colleagues. 

“Having already served on the committee during my first term, I am very aware of the public safety concerns and issues facing the Commonwealth today. I am thrilled that I am able to continue working with the Chairman and other members of the committee to promote legislation that will help to further protect and enhance the safety of our citizens” said Representative Alicea.
