Representative Alicea Receives Powermeter 2008 Award
Representative Geraldo Alicea (D-Charlton) was recently honored by El Planeta, the largest Hispanic newspaper in Massachusetts, with their Powermeter 2008 Award. Representative Alicea, who also received the award in 2007, was recognized as one of the most Influential Individuals in the Hispanic Community in Massachusetts in 2008.
“It’s a great privilege to have received this award from El Planeta and to be honored along with so many other exceptional individuals who have made achievements and contributions to the advancement of the Hispanic community in Massachusetts” said Representative Alicea.
El Planeta will publish a special section on the Powermeter 2008 in its December 4th issue with features, facts and information about the honorees, as well as the “Future Powermeters”, a compilation of promising candidates who have the potential of making it to the Powermeter list in the years to come.
