Representative Alicea Secures $300,000 for Charlton in Capitol Bond Bill
Representative Geraldo Alicea (D-Charlton) successfully secured $300,000 for the town of Charlton in the Capitol Bond Bill, legislation which provides funding for capital facility repairs and improvements for various towns throughout the Commonwealth. The funding will finance ADA compliance and entry way improvements to be made to the Charlton Town Hall.
“It is imperative that that our town hall is easily accessible to every member of the community,” said Representative Alicea. “The Charlton town hall needs these vital upgrades, and I am happy to have secured the funding necessary to make these improvements possible”.
The Capitol Bond Bill was engrossed in the House on Thursday, July 24 and now heads to the Senate for a vote.
