Representative Geraldo Alicea Announces Date for Community Forum with Registrar of Motor Vehicles 

Representative Geraldo Alicea (D-Charlton) announced today that Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles Registrar Rachel Kaprielian will be coming to Southbridge for a community forum scheduled to take place on February 22, 2010 at 5:00 PM at the Town Hall. 

The forum is open to the public and will give local residents from surrounding communities a chance to directly address the Registrar and offer testimony with respect to the state’s decision this past July to relocate the Southbridge RMV branch office to the Charlton Turnpike Service Area.

Brewer and Alicea Announce State Revolving Fund Awards for Charlton

Senator Stephen M. Brewer (D-Barre) and Representative Geraldo Alicea (D-Charlton) announced today that the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) awarded a Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan of $2,827,276 and a Drinking Water SRF loan of $1,565,250 to the Town of Charlton.

Brewer, Alicea and Gobi Announce Grant Award for Bay Path Regional Technical High School

State Senator Stephen M. Brewer (D-Barre), and State Representatives Geraldo Alicea (D-Charlton) and Anne M. Gobi (D-Spencer) announced today that Bay Path Regional Technical High School has received a $399,000 grant from the Commonwealth Wind Incentive Program.
